Sisters in Denver

So excited to have one of my sister's in the same state as me!! Tonight we went out to dinner in Denver! We found a fun Mexican restaurant! Best food I have had in two weeks! ;) Can't wait to pick her up tomorrow night and take her around the Springs. I think all my family should just move here...yes???

Puppy Love

Brian & I are not allowed to go near the animal shelter anymore! We tend to leave with a new puppy each time! We first got Max in August when he was brought to the shelter as a stray. Then on Christmas Eve we got Maggie who was found in Pueblo, CO and brought to the Colorado Springs shelter as a stray. They are both part lab which makes them extremely hyper but very sweet! Max & Maggie get along very well...you can usually find them snuggling on the couch together! (guess who allowed them to start that...not me!) ;)

Army Life

Brian and I are stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado. We arrived here on August 14th, 2009. It is hard to believe that we have already spent over five months out here. In that short time we have moved twice, saved two puppies from the animal shelter, started new jobs, traveled, and been on many adventures. Most recently Brian traveled to Germany for two weeks but will be home this Saturday night! (5 days!) I am so excited to have him home soon! I can't wait to show him this new blog and see what he thinks! I'm sure he will be happy that I have found something to stay busy with so he can play Call of Duty, his favorite video game! (haha!) :)

NCLEX results

I finally signed up and sat for my NCLEX exam on Thursday, January 14th, 2010. After 4 1/2 hours and 265 questions later...I was very concerned about my results. On Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 I found out I PASSED!! I am officially a REGISTERED NURSE!! My friend Jenna Bristol puts it best..."Four years of nursing school comes down to ONE, lower case, four letter word: pass." I thank everyone who put up with me and supported me through nursing school! It took a lot of love, support, studying, and many prayers...but I passed!! woohoo! <3
