goodnight

It's now March 2011 and I'm just posting this video...

I knew I wasn't going to get to talk to Brian probably for a couple of nights...until he was settled over seas. He made me a goodnight video the day he left so I could watch it before crying my eyes out and falling asleep... (hehe) ... it's true!

I love this video and still watch it on my cell months later!

CO hail storm -July 20, 2010

In July there was an unbelievable hail storm here in CO... like most rainy weather...it didn't last long in C/S. It was kind of exciting! This is the first video...the other one showing how intense the hail storm was is too large to upload from my cell... (I'll have to have someone help me figure out how to do that...)

In the other video Maggie walks out into the front yard and runs back in... she usually when let out the front doors runs away with us chasing after her... I guess she didn't like this weather!

Bear Creek

Bear Creek Dog park may be our favorite place in the springs! We have been going to the dog park since last August when we arrived in CO! It has been where we have tried to train the dogs! When you visit...let us know how we did! ;)

This time at the dog park we actually found a new little spot we have never seen before! It was further back along the path, past the gates where most everyone stays, and we found a spot on the creek where we could sit together and the dogs could play! We were tucked away in the shade with our crazy pups romping around in the creek!

Love birds ;)
Maggie loving the water!
Max leading the way...
Max & Maggie jumping and running all over the place!
Maggie likes posing for pics! Max likes to explore the woods! Until we call for him to go find Maggie! When she goes missing he always goes to get her and bring her back! It's really cute! They are good siblings!

Army Ball

June 11, 2010 was the 10th group SF Army Ball! Let me begin by telling you there was a dress issue...solved by wearing the bridesmaid dress from my sister's wedding! Phew! I was not on my game this night with taking pictures! At least Brian and I got this one nice pic together! The ball was at the Hilton in the downtown springs. We had a good time eating and drinking the night away with friends!

Tzim & Pete get married!

Brian & I went to Pete and Tzims wedding in Sturbridge, MA. It was a beautiful ceremony outdoors! The celebration continued indoors with delicious food, music, and dancing! I was really grateful we were able to be apart of their special day!

Stacey's Graduation

Friday night back home was Stacey's high school graduation! Brian and I couldn't even stand the heat and humidity back home! We really have become adjusted to the dry Colorado air! It was so hot in the packed gym!! However, we were so happy to be there and to see Stacey graduate!!

Who would have thought I'd be sitting in the Bham HS gym with someone who graduated from there! I always joke with Brian and tell him good thing we didn't meet in HS b/c Bham and Htown are huge rivals!!

BOSTON YOU'RE MY HOME!

Brian and I planned to go back home for one of my best friends from high schools wedding! Who knew it was the same weekend as everything else! We were fortunate it all fell on the same weekend since we would be home! We made it to Brian's lil sisters HS graduation, Tzims & Pete's wedding, and Kaitlyn's graduation party! Brian and I flew back to MA on June 3rd and stayed until June 6th. We tried to fit in everything we possibly could over those few days! It was so wonderful being with all of our family and friends! I love and miss everyone so much!

This is where the adventure begins...

WELCOME TO BOSTON!

We started the first day off going to visit at Brian's families house then we went to dinner with my Mom and met met up with my sister and her family at the Alamo! Smooches from my lil man, LP!

My 3 yr. old nephew!

Paul playing with Uncle Brian at the Alamo!

I finally got to see my friend Heather and her lil babes Lilli!

We have been friends from HCCC for so long now!

We even fit in a Boston trip to Faneuil Hall! We met up with Brian's college friend Anthony! It was a lot of fun seeing him and hanging out with all the guys! I love the city!! Brian even said he misses it and everyone...let's all see how long it takes us to get back...

My cousin Kaitlyn graduated from HHS!! woot woot! We all went to the Alamo to celebrate!!

I luv my cousins! Me with my Mom, sister, and Aunts! (Missing two sisters, and my Aunt Evie tho!)

Preggo & Me! We have this same pose from when Carrie was pregnant with Paul! I love this picture! I have to send it to her to put beside the other one on her fridge! (Ca- Which better make it on to the fridge at the new house!)

Happy Graduatioon Kaitlyn!

What would a trip be for Brian without making it to a casino?? We met up with another one of Brian's college friends, Bill, at Foxwoods!! Needless to say...we did not come back rich! But we had fun!! :)

The Yard!

This front yard has been a lot of work! It is so nice to finally look out and see grass instead of a yard full of rocks!! We are still waiting for our tree to bloom this summer! *Fingers crossed!*

We even planted flowers!!
The rock garden was already there!
We may fix it up a little bit more...for now I love my little garden!
Max loved the grass! He was rolling around in it forever!!
Then he went running through the sprinkler!

On to the back yard now...oye!

WildLiFe

While Mom was in CO I wanted to make sure she was able to see all the "nature!" When we first moved here I couldn't believe all the deer, foxes, and other creatures we would see! I still sometimes fee a little too close to nature! It is soooo different than MA!

We started at Bear Creek Dog Park where Maggie showed us some other sides of nature...
Max thinks he owns the dog park! He sits where ever he likes! Maggie appears well behaved...but don't let her fool you! The pups loved Mom visiting! She gave them lots of attention! She even tried to teach them not to jump on people! ha! ha!
I drove Mom around my favorite C/S neighborhood! Where there are always deer in the front yards, on the corner of the streets...everywhere! However, whenever I take visitors to go see this neighborhood the deer never seem to be out! We drove around for awhile and then we started seeing them!! It's a lot harder in the spring to spot them than it was in the winter!

This one was trying to hide...we rolled the windows down to get a pic! Max and Maggie weren't too happy! Max loves to chase deer...Brian and I learned that one day at the dog park when he took off after one down the road! oye!
We also went to Garden of the Gods!

I love this one! Colorado does have some amazing views!

MA is still better...but I do love visitors!
